Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

When we have to guess whether what we do is illegal (e.g., can I light up a cigarette within so many feet of a school?), ours is not a free society. How adults choose to relax, whether with a shot of single malt or a joint, should not be subject to criminal penalties. The default...1/3

position should be that unless something is intrinsically wrong, e.g., outright murder of a human being, that thing should be legal. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson smoked pot: drugs were legal. Then came Prohibition. That didn’t work so well. All drugs should be legal. 2/3

If ppl have problems put them in rehab, not prison. Rehab’s A TON cheaper. I’m Mark Small: pro-legal weed, pro-legal drugs, pro-choice, pro environment, pro-civil rts, pro-democracy GOP candidate for Indiana House District 86. I approve of this blog. Hell, I wrote it. 3/3

I get your point about legalization of all drugs, but your position is completely unrealistic.  It's never going to happen in one fell swoop.  If you get a chance to get legalization of just marijuana, you take that win and then push to expand that to other drugs.  If you get a chance for half a loaf, take the win and then move to get more slices of bread.
