Order of Suspension from Indiana's Supreme Court ... say what?

“A lawyer shall not make a statement [ ] the lawyer knows to be false or w/reckless disregard as to its” truth/falsity concerning qual’ns/integrity “of a judge.” Rule Prof Conduct 8.2. IN lawyers’ speech, especially about judges, is protected by fed & State constitutions, because: 1/6

to express honest/candid opinions re judges helps to improve admin of justice. (Comment RPC 8.2.) Hoosier lawyers’ speech may be chilled, but law licenses are safe if lawyers make no statements about judges. To say something true about a judge might be worse. I was asked: 2/6

“Did you ask for an extension of time because this country was being invaded by Russia?” The words ... were ... asked ... very ... slowly. The June 2022 call relates to my absence from blogs & tweets lately. I’ve scrambled to comply w/an order of the Indiana Supremes that suspended my 3/6

license to practice law, starting 4/20, for no less than 1 yr. Reinstatement occurs only if I present clear & convincing evidence that I have remorse. A year ago my knee surgery was bumped. An emergency extension to file a petition for writ of certiorari was denied. No one questioned my 4/6

surgery being re-set is an extraordinary circumstance. Amy Coney Barrett is “Circuit Justice” (responsible for emergency requests from the 7th Circuit in which Indiana is located) such as a request to extend the time to file a petition for review. Mine was denied. I’ve been suspended 5/6

for failure to return a Client’s mom’s phone calls. In 2017 I represented petitioners in SCOTUS cases who challenged the 2016 election on grounds of Russian interference. I’m a candidate in the GOP primary for City-Council District 2. I approve of this message. Hell, I wrote it. 6/6
