A person wears a mask either to hide her/his/their identity so as to not get caught, or to attend a costume party. Unless we missed the announcement, no “police state theme” costume party is on any official calendars. That leaves us with “not get caught,” that means ... 1/4
“Escape accountability.” Today’s ICE agents trash homes, bust non-white people who “look” like they’re illegal, and just all around carry out the same types of “patriotic acts” as others in our country who wore masks. Actually, the kkk wore hoods, but you get the idea. 2/4
A question I have is about a very important detail. We’ve been told that they seek the worst of the worst. But how many convicted felons have answered the call to be able to get off on beating up people? How many people in ICE have records of felony convictions? 3/4
I’m an optimist. In the zeal to protect the American people, we know that there have not been a lot of people who have felony convictions. I’ll hazard to guess that there are more convicted felons wearing that ICE gear than felons they’ve arrested. 4/4
