Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

God wouldn't have fibbed to Micah Beckwith. Seriously.

“Alleged event that happened”: how a guest on “Mouthwash,” John Schmitz’s podcast, referred to Jan 6, 2021. That guest holds to a crazy notion that the MAGA hordes did not march to The Capitol to “stop the steal.” He’s wrong. I know it. God said it to Micah Beckwith. 1/5

Beckwith, a Noblesville preacher, ran for U.S. House in 2020. God, Beckwith claims, talks with Beckwith a lot. Beckwith knows quotes from authoritative sources must be accurate. Beckwith, on Jan 7, 2021, reported in a Facebook post the divine origin of the Jan 6 events. God: 2/5

“I sent those riots to Washington.” Here are the possibilities. 1) Beckwith experienced auditory hallucinations. If so one questions the prudence of Micah getting behind the wheel of a car (or placing his name on a ballot). 2) God, maybe with an odd sense of humor, lied to Micah. 3/5

3) God didn’t talk to Micah. The voice really was that of ... Satan (who maybe has an odd sense of humor). 4) God didn’t speak to Micah. Micah made it up. The problem? Micah mis-read Jan 6 as something of which neo-fascists always would be proud & didn’t foresee that w/in only ...4/5

a few months Jan 6 would be an “alleged event” to be denied. God might reconsider talking with Beckwith. I’m Mark Small: pro-separation of church & State, pro-choice, pro-civil rts & anti-gun GOP nominee for Indiana House Distr 86. I approve of this blog. Hell, I wrote it. 5/5
