Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

Christofascism, May 7 primary & balls

Years ago, “A” described her fundamentalist church. Me: “1st Amendment protects your religious beliefs.” A: “That’s not my religion. I believe in ‘God.’” [FN1] Hoosiers seem ignorant of others’ beliefs. A’s church is not an outlier. Evangelicals hacked the GOP in pursuit of power. 1/10

Sean Feucht was in Indy last year [FN2] & says the USA should be governed “for the benefit of believers [T]hat’s why we get called Christian nationalists.” [FN3] No, dumbass, you call yourselves that. Also, you lie. America does not exist “for the benefit [FN4] of” believers 2/10

in their kind of Christianity. [FN5] They lie about this country’s origins to claim the founding is rooted in Christianity. Hamilton County preacher Micah Beckwith promoted Feucht, saying, “Him and I are very similar” Feucht tours, for security, have included ppl w/”histories of 3/10

street violence” & a member of the Proud Boys.” [FN6] But wait! There’s more! Feucht has performed w/the “ReAwaken tour” & it fuses “Christian nationalism, antisemitism, and fringe right-wing conspiracy theories & speakers who “have praised [AH].” [FN7] 4/10

AH brings me back to Beckwith. Early voting for IN’s May 7 primary has started. Beckwith’s quest to be the GOP nominee for Lt Gov only succeeds if he stacks enough GOP State convention delegates in the primary. You can make a difference! If you have requested 5/10

a GOP ballot in past primaries, or you want to strike a blow against Christofascism, see who’s running for GOP delegate in your precinct (online usu w/your County Clerk) & see if they intend to vote for Beckwith, who seeks office in ways unaccountable to voters. 6/10

Beckwith is anti-choice & backs many bad things. Voters bitch-slap him so often, it’s like “Punch and Judy” in the 1930s. (Beckwith doesn’t need the snip-snip to be Judy! The only balls he has are for playing golf & sold on his campaign website) ttfn! 7/10
