Civil Discourse Now

Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

In 1973, when I registered for first semester classes at DePauw, I was amazed by the fact DePauw had its own computer. The thing was the size of a two-bedroom house in a blue-colar 1960s subdivision. Its memory was probably less than that of a digital wrist watch---for those who still wear watches---today.

This explains, in part, the problems we have had with software, etc., and the delay in the show Paul Ogden and I co-host, "Civil Discourse Now," coming on-line. Well, finally yesterday, we were able to navigate through the problems. The show from last weekend is now on YouTube and will be on this website this morning. There should be no further delays in shows appearing on-line. The science part of my political science major was a misnomer. Be that as it may, enjoy the show. And in consideration of others around you,  please turn off your cell phone or turn the "ring" application on "vibrate."

I have a previous engagement  later that day, so perhaps. But, if not this weekend, surely another.

Kurt,

We never have been asked about that before, but sure. We will start the show a little early this Saturday, about 11. We shoot upstairs at Big Hat. There are folding chairs. We'll look forward to seeing you.

Don't schedule a Roman triumph just yet (but, maybe it's just me), as I am having a hard time coming up with all of a particular session's videos at any one time. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
