Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

We should not leave an opening for SCOTUS to name a dictator

The Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives stated that “any attempt by Democrats to sub in a new candidate in place of President Joe Biden is likely to be met by legal challenges.” [FN1] magaGOP only gets the Oval Office when it cheats [FN2] and by vestiges slavery. 1/7

The Constitution states how the President is selected. [FN3] Scholarly authority notes: “As far as I know, the presidency is the only elected office in the United States in which the person with the most votes in the final election does not necessarily win.” [FN4] Compromises were 2/7

reached. The indirect method of choosing the President meant the number of electors given a State leveraged the 3/5 compromise to apportion seats in the House. [FN5] magaGOP can’t govern & lacks policies, but it loves 1) electors and 2) cheating. If a challenge, as 3/7

suggested by the Speaker, then the election goes to the most corrupt 6-3 majority in history. A repeat of Bush v Gore will be handed down. I suggest what might be a better course. The Democratic convention nominates the ticket as is plus one. 4/7

On Jan 20, 2025, Pres Biden takes the oath of office and immediately resigns. Vice President Harris is immediately sworn in. The “plus one” begins the process of being approved as VP. We have to follow the letter of the law until rule of law is restored. 5/7
