Some on the far right are, at best, confused or, more probably, lying about who is responsible for incidents of “swatting” [FN1] of GOP members of Indiana’s General Assembly. [FN2] “False equivalence” is a maga ploy as invalid as usual. Several reasons maga is lying. 1/9

1) It’s what “maga” does. As noted in a meme: “Majorie Taylor Green has been hated by the left for more than 5 years; she has been hated by the right for three days. She has now had to hire security for death threats from the right — she never had to do that before.” 2/9

2) These actions serve a specific goal. Indiana’s General Assembly is considering whether to redraw lines for U.S. House districts. This effort violates Indiana’s Constitution [FN3] and Indiana statutes. [FN4] Indiana’s high court has given safe haven to maga. 3/9

3) These actions have been egged on by maga’s deity. That deity isn’t biblical. [FN5] trump hath spoken & maga obeys.
4) Very few of us on the left embrace violence as a way to settle conflicts. I’m a pacifist. I do not own a firearm. I don’t recall any gun death advocates at “No Kings” rallies. 4/9

The maga people blame Antifa & the “deep State” for violence that occurs, but there are a lot of “2A” people [FN6] wearing red hats. Besides, at every deep State meeting, after we carve up that baby, we discuss the latest news & possible new strategies & we’re far more creative. 5/9

A leftie wouldn’t do a random emergency call, but one designed to call out ICE on a person “with an assault-style weapon.” The heavily-armed maga inside the house would see men in masks heavily armed & without warrants. That home owner would rely upon 6/9

the “castle doctrine” or “stand your ground” before he pulled out his weapon loaded with rounds designed to go through bullet-proof vests and start mowing those bastards down. I know that is a silly scenario. The maga gun nuts are IN ICE. “Hey! That’s my house!” 7/9
