Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

“Nobody would do that!” One human death is a tragedy. A million = electors in a swing State

The short, dismissive “Nobody would do that!” is inapplicable to our reality. In 2023, if someone had suggested that a 2nd term for trump would mean the WH East Wing razed, a knock-off of the Arc de Triomphe planned, or our military attacking other countries on whims. 1/9

“Nobody would do that!” In “1984" and “Fahrenheit 451,” the masses are lied to and used, but still allowed to exist. Individuals are snuffed, but the societies depicted still “need” people. The “need” might soon be, if it is not already, fiction. 2/9

Walter Reuther, head of the UAW, toured a Ford plant. A management person asked, “How are you going to collect union dues from all these machines?” Reuther replied, “[That’s not] what’s bothering me.” Reuther asked how to sell automobiles to these machines? [FN1] 3/9

American workers are increasingly irrelevant as labor, consumers or voters. Mass killings do not have a “down” side to this administration. trump’s bungling of COVID resulted in at least 400k deaths and cost him 2020's election. [FN2] trump’s handlers won’t err twice & some 4/9

of influence [FN3] of this trump administration have a philosopher, Curtis Yarvin. He said his suggestion to turn unproductive people into biodiesel fuel was a joke, but their placement in permanent solitary confinement w/virtual-reality interface was not a joke. [FN4] 5/9

This iteration of the gop seeks to maintain power. That’s why they use the ruse of “voter fraud” to disenfranchise as many voters in blue areas as possible. A “created emergency,” like the 1933 Reichstag fire, allows martial law. Mass carnage eliminates opposition. 6/9
