Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

No one seriously questions trump will name himself dictator

Dictatorship: [FN1] from the start, this country opposed it & declared people “under absolute Despotism, it is their Right [] to throw off such Government.” [FN2]
Yesterday, I quoted a chilling statement in Special Counsel’s Final Report: 1/12

“Mr. Trump did this in contravention of the Framers' intent to prevent a sitting President from perpetuating himself in power.” [FN3] Special Prosecutor Jack Smith cites authorities, back to The Federalist, and case law, even recent, to detail the Framers’ intent. [FN4] 2/12

No one has advanced argument of any merit that trump does not intend to declare himself king or dictator, or some other title as garish & untrue as the faux gold surfaces of trump residences. The only alternative: someone else will claim rule over the United States. 3/12

Russia has hacked our election systems since at least 2016. [FN5] A cyber invasion is not a silly part of a science fiction flick. The Pentagon spends billions in that area. [FN6] Putin hates this country. [FN7] For decades trump’s gotten $$ from Russia. [FN8] That might explain... 4/12

trump’s nominees for positions if trump is allowed to take office on Jan 20 seem to be rather the opposite of “best.” They’re the kinds of people our enemies would want to name. Tulsi Gabbard, RFK, Jr.... We have to come back to one question: will trump take over as dictator? 5/12

The Framers created a mechanism to stop someone corrupt, incompetent or under control of an enemy from taking the Office of President. Electors were supposed to be able to act as a check. [FN9] That “check” has been disabled. Electors have to vote w/o discretion. 6/12

The Framers intended we have a mechanism to protect us from a trump. Pres Biden must act on the nat’l emergency already declared, i.e., Russian interference in our elections, and prevent trump from taking office. Tell Pres Biden he must act, otherwise. WRSF. 7/12
