Matt Stone has been a guest panelist every few weeks since our podcast began in early 2011. Last Saturday our Show focused on breast cancer. Matt did an excellent interview of his mother, a breast cancer survivor, and his sister. Matt blogged, over at his blog site "Indy Student," about the difficulty an interview of such a personal nature poses. You can listen to the interview, and the entire Show, on the Civil Discourse Now Face Book page, Live365, or at Indiana Talks. Our three guest panelists are breast cancer survivors and spoke about aspects of their experiences that I have not heard mentioned, or at least not on as personal or detailed of a level, as they did. We also were joined, via Skyoe, by Dr. Randolph Elble of the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and the Simmons Cancer Clinic. Dr. Elble's research is in the area of breast cancer. And the title of the Show, "Tits, Tits, Tits and Ass" was not my idea. In case you are guessing, I am the "ass" in that equation.
Matt will join us on a more regular basis over the next few months. In addition to being a panelist, he will be doing pre-recorded segments that will air during the live Show. I did a Rand Paul on that little bit there, pretty much lifting it from Matt's website. Wait---I just accredited it.
Finally, we still will stream live on Indiana Talks, but also have our own station on Live365 under 7bitsofinfo.
