GOP policies of denial of reproductive rights & of discrimination scare away "talent"

Tomorrow, May 2, is the primary election. Here in Indy/Marion County, the office of Mayor and the 25 seats on the City-County Council are up for grabs. We can’t allow one of the two “major” political parties to be run by forces of bigotry & ignorance. After a lifetime of voting, & 1/5

sometimes volunteering to work, for the Democratic Party, I’m running in the GOP primary for City-County Council District 2, a very blue district. Matt Hills, my opponent, in the mailers I’ve received, omits mention that he’s running in the GOP. Under “smart economy” he says he 2/5

wants to position Indy as “the tech hub of the Midwest” & leverage “public-private partnerships to better attract talent.” Indiana enacts laws to rob women of control of their bodies, discriminate against LGTBQ folks & to protect a fetish for guns. We scare away “talent” as we more 3/5

fully justify our lock on “Mississippi of the north.” Also, public-private partnerships are not partnerships. TIFs are set up, developers pocket cash & leave ugly buildings & bond debt in their wake. White supremacists jacked the GOP & need to be tossed out of the GOP & Indiana. 4/5

The GOP should return to its founding principles and be the progressive party it has been for most of its history. I’m Mark Small: pro-civil rts, anti-gun, anti-TIF & pro-choice GOP candidate for City-County Council District 2. I approve of this message. Hell, I wrote it. 5/5
