JR Ewing was all-American tone: winning’s no fun unless you cheat. Indiana’s education system skews rules in favor of schools that aren’t supposed to receive public funds. Ind.Const, Art. I §6 states: “No money shall B drawn from the treasury, 4 the benefit 1/5
of any religious/theological institution.” But today a lot of Indiana tax $$$ go 2 religious schools. Prof Sheila Kennedy’s blog a few days ago is accurate: “religious indoctrination academies supported by Indiana’s voucher program w/monies drained from... 2/5
our struggling pub schools & not schools [where] teachers R forbidden 2 teach accurate history.” Indiana’s General Assembly is considering whether teachers already difficult to hire, should be fined if they teach history (as in slavery was protected by The U.S. Constitution... 3/5
or that KKK ran Indiana in the 1920s). That applies to PUBLIC school teachers, not teachers in schools funded by vouchers. Teachers can avoid fines in the public sphere & go 2 religious schools, “free” 2 teach what that school’s masters deem Jesus would “okay.” 4/5
Christianity ruled Europe in The Dark Ages, which can repeat. God told Micah Beckwith, 2020 INCD5 GOP candidate: “I sent those [Jan 6] riots to Washington.” God hasn’t been asked if it’s OK 2 B recorded, but if Beckwith won’t, CDN extends an invite to the supreme deity. 5/5
