Ham County preacher Micah Beckwith (the Lloyd Ruby of local politics) will be on a panel with Jocelyn Vare (Fishers City Council) and Alexandria librarian Brad Sowinski. Compare/contrast Beckwith in The Daily Caller (“All we’ve asked HEPL staff is to review books that 2/10

could contain explicit graphic content. If any is found, we are not removing the book. We want to be an inclusive and tolerant environment for all”) w/his online meltdown in a reply to Ms Vare. (You, a ‘leader’ in Fishers, shouldn’t be fighting me on keeping porn out of the hands 3/10

of children but you are”; Beckwith claims Vare “is steaming mad that myself” & 3 others on the board “moved pornographic material out of the children’s section. She HATES not being able to put porn in your children and grandchildren’s hands”) 1st comment: Beckwith seems sober. 4/10

2nd comment: Beckwith sounds buzzed on power. The kicker: he added w/“recent spotlight on child sexual exploitation through great movies like The Sound Of Freedom, one has to ask the question, why are politicians like Vare advocating for children to be exposed to sexually 5/10

explicit material at a young age?? If you live in Fishers don’t vote for a woman who is hellbent on destroying your kids by exposing them to sexually explicit & harmful material.” Beckwith has problems w/several things, esp “facts.” No one has advocated putting smut in kids’ hands, 6/10

but think of Beckwith’s impetus, the movie “The Sound of Freedom.” Fabian Marta invested enough $$$ in the movie for his name to appear in the movie’s credits. Marta faces charges for felony child kidnaping. Here’s a game: “I’ll take Evangelical preachers caught as 7/10

‘sex perverts’ for $200.” Jimmy Swaggert slammed masturbation & was caught choking the chicken in front of a hooker. Jerry Falwell, Jr., had a thing about his wife & their pool boy. Jim Bakker couldn’t resolve his impetus w/Jessica Hahn. The late Ernest “I did not ejaculate” 8/10

Angley did not “cover” convincingly. The concept is “projection.” Beckwith should not level false accusations at Ms Vare. Instead he should explain why he pushes a set of beliefs held by ... er, embraced by ... Look up Genesis 38:9. In the meantime: this iteration of the GOP wants 9/10

to destroy public education & access to info because people who are better educated or who have access to info tend to reject crap & think for themselves. And if people stop going to the library, they’ll go to alternate sources of info, like the internet & there’s no smut there! 10/10
