Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

Don’t get too carried away re: comparisons of 47 to 18

Time can take a toll on rationality, but it also can transform the political terrain. On occasion I’ve kept track of unfair comparisons of “47" to the former corporal/unsuccessful postcard artist who was der fuehrer of the 12 ½ year reich (“18"). [FN1] New similarities alleged: 1/9

RECLUSE FROM BAD P.R.
1) As military & foreign relations disasters mounted, 18 increasingly withdrew to hide under the rubble of the city his actions destroyed. [FN2] 47 is increasingly absent from public view, [FN3] but has far less rubble under which to hide - for now. 2/9

BARBARIANS AT THE GATE
2) Near the end, 18 retreated into the bunker (built on his orders) as Russians [FN4] sought to break in & remove him from power. 47's bunker under his “ballroom” isn’t finished, but the Russians are with him. 3/9

MILITARY GENIUS - NOT
3) In the early years of the war, 18's military overran & conquered parts of north Africa, most of Europe and portions of Asia, before being turned back. 47 has blown up fishing boats off South America and assisted a coup in Venezuela. 4/9

GENOCIDE
4) In 1942, under 18's rule, Reynard Heydrich organized the Wanssee Conference at which the Holocaust, which murdered over 6 million Jews, was planned. [FN5] Under Bibi’s orders, 47 had Iran attacked while turning a blind eye to genocide in Gaza. 5/9

LEBENSRAUM
5) 18 alleged that conquests/seizures of lands was for agriculture. [FN6] 47's son-in-law is grabs land for 47's luxury highrises. [FN7]
