Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

Nearly two weeks ago, FB [FN1] began to pull posts under civildiscoursenow [FN2] and under my name for having “tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way.” The subject of the posts in question has been Micah Beckwith. [FN3] [FN4] 1/9

Implicit to posts on matters related to politics, social issues or consumer goods is an intent “to get likes, follows, shares or video views.” The process of “appeal,” as I sought in each instance, is as farcical as the rule itself. First, hit a button for appeal, then 2 multiple choice questions. 2/9

Why was removal wrong? (didn’t violate rules) What is the nature of the post’s content? (an important issue). FB, a private entity, doesn’t even have to give “due process by multiple choice.” The Constitution protects our rights from gov’t. 3/9

There are ironies in this fracas. I footnote my blog/tweets, especially about constitutional history. [FN5] Beckwith states bare-faced lies, yet mine are the posts removed. [FN6] Since I accepted his challenge to debate in 2020, he has dodged me. So I have blogged. 4/9

On other platforms or websites, some claim credit for lodging the complaints that got my posts removed. The fact that their gutless leader will not debate me does not elevate their falsehoods any higher than editorial vandalism. 5/9

Beckwith is a threat to the rights of People of Color, Women, the poor, the LGBTQA+ community, and people of any religious belief (except his specific sub-group of what some would dispute as Christian). Please read & share my posts. Watch for my podcast. 6/9

Beckwith wants power. The office of Lt Gov seems insignificant, but he has said he will be a “check” on Braun if the GOP ticket wins. Beckwith screwed up a library in short time. To the State he will do even more. 7/9

Footnotes:
FN1. There is little sense in making the work of censors too easy.
FN2. Tack a [dot] com after the “w,” and you have the internet handle under which I’ve posted blogs since 2010.
FN3. Hamilton County preacher nominated by GOP State convention for IN Lt Gov.
FN4. The posts include those of 6/11, 6/12, 6/13 (two posts), 6/14, 6/15,. 6/16, 6/17, 6/18, 6/19 and 6/20. 8/9

Footnotes:
FN5. I try to cite Founding Documents (Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights), as well as primary sources (including, but not limited to, The Federalist, Elliot’s Debates.)
FN6. Even my posts about censorship via posts’ removal were removed. (E.g., 6/12, 6/13 (two posts), 6/18, 6/2024.) 9/9
