Micah Beckwith’s [FN1] ignorance about The Constitution and about religion are not cause for pity. He seeks political power to impose his religion on all of us. His refusal to debate about The Constitution means he loses by forfeit. He’s ignorant about religion & he’s a preacher. 1/9

In our country & State, beliefs are protected & establishment of religion prohibited. [FN2] Even to define “religion” is difficult. [FN3] A deity is not a required for a belief to be protected by the First Amendment. [FN4] Existence & our place in it are fascinating. [FN5] 2/9

I’ve had excellent conversations w/people of many beliefs or various philosophies, over the decades of my life. This is a benefit of an open society in which we are free. We all should be offended by those who claim theirs is the only religion & they speak for ALL its members. 3/9

Beckwith says America was founded as an explicitly Christian nation. [FN6] It wasn’t. [FN7] He claims to speak for all Christians. [FN8] He shows no respect for other beliefs. Religions that predate Christianity had a variation on the Golden Rule. Beckwith talks w/God. 4/9

Beckwith wants GOP State convention delegates in June to nominate him for Lt Gov. Don’t. I’m one of eight people running for ten spots. Beckwith prevaricates & lacks intellectual acuity. His ignorance is breathtaking. He has earned the title, Merde de Poulet. 5/9
