Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

Amend14.3 can be enforced by voters when the Roberts SCOTUS 6 refuse

Rule of law is, at best, comatose. The Roberts SCOTUS 6 have issued decisions that, a few years ago, would have been laughed off as left-wing paranoia. Citizens United facilitated the purchase of POTUS, Congress and SCOTUS, which also gave trump immunity. 1/7

Our country faced an insurrection, a violent revolt against our government, in the Civil War. As a result, the Constitution was ratified to disqualify from office those who engage in insurrection against our country. [FN1] That happened in the mob violence on 1/6/21. 2/7

January 6 (& the sickening sight of that fool w/a Confederate flag over his shoulder in the Capitol) is something we cannot afford to forget, because:
1) trump wants to make like it never happened; and
2) it gives voters 3 questions to pose to candidates for any office. 3/7

The Roberts SCOTUS 6 will ignore provisions of The Constitution, no matter how clearly written, if the provisions run counter to the racist narrative of the trump administration. Here are 3 questions voters can ask the candidate: 4/7

1) Did you support the insurrectionists on Jan 6? 2) Do you support them now? 3) Do you support trump’s blanket pardons for those who took part in Jan 6?
The Roberts SCOTUS 6 might fail in their oath and refuse to enforce 14.3. But voters? 5/7

Voters can functionally disqualify those who took part in or supported Jan 6, and disqualify those who support the man who stood to benefit from the January 6 mob attacks on the Capitol. Voters can do the job when the Roberts SCOTUS 6 refuse. 6/7

Footnotes:
FN1. Amend XIV, §3: “No person shall ... hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath ... to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same...” 7/7
