Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

6 points to emphasize to flip Indiana blue

I said to a friend yesterday that magaGOP nominee for IN LT Gov Micah Beckwith [FN1] could be why Indiana flips blue. Beckwith’s bigotry (e.g., you lack the capacity to be moral if you’re not “Christian”; the USA was founded by & for the benefit of Christians). 1/7

My friend questioned my observation. He said people will have to link the magaGOP nominee for IN Gov Mike Braun to Beckwith & that not enough people will know who Beckwith is and what he represents to impact that ticket. I did not mean only that ticket. 2/7

His point was valid. When I read this morning that the Democratic Governors Association is giving $600K to the campaign of the Democratic Party ticket of McCormick/Goodin because the race is seen as winnable [FN2], I realized that Indiana can turn very blue. 3/7

Here is what we have to do. Make sure people know:
1) GOV/LT Gov ticket cannot be split.
2) Beckwith wants this country to be a theocracy.
3) Braun’s views are extreme, but Braun lacks the courage to rein in his number 2 and thus ratifies Beckwith’s views. 4/7

4) magaGOP nominees for other Statewide races (US Senate & Indiana AG) hold views as extreme as Beckwith’s.
5) The Republican Party, all the way down the ballot is now simply a cult of personality in awe of the orange-haired felon who heads the national ticket. 5/7

6) That means VOTE STR8 TICKET BLUE.
If we are to save this Republic and the rights we hold so dear, we cannot allow theocrats to take office. Hammer on these points. #BrainsNotBraun 6/7

FN1. Beckwith has called the Democratic Party opposition “Jezebels.”
