Guns of August, Missiles of October and ... Idiots of April pt 2

EVERYONE, PLEASE READ THIS. Iran became a military ally of China in 2021 and of Russia last year. [FN1] Military allies assist each other, especially when one ally is attacked. Imposition of blockade is an act of war. [FN2] In 1914, treaties of mutual aid led to WW1. [FN3] 1/10

We have more recent experience in coming close to nuclear war. In October 1962, Pres Kennedy was told the U.S.S.R. was placing missiles in Cuba. [FN4] On October 22, Pres Kennedy announced a strict quarantine on Cuba. [FN5] 2/10

Communications betw Navy commanders at the quarantine “line” were garbled. Years later, it was disclosed that a Soviet sub driver had refused to launch missiles when the Navy dropped “practice” depth charges on his boat. President Kennedy averted nuclear war. 3/10

Fortunately, JFK was intelligent and well-read, as were the members of his cabinet. We have no person in the Oval Office or in the cabinet. The scenario we could see would be a repeat of 1962, but Iran’s ally, China, would have warships ready to accompany the ally’s vessels. 4/10

Iran’s ships refuse to turn around. Hegseth, on his fourth adult beverage of the morning, orders the carrier(s) to launch fighters that actually sink Iran’s ship. Chinese warships, in response to our acts of war, unleash a thousand-missile attack systems & sink carriers. [FN6] 5/10

Every U.S. service member who has died in trump’s illegal, idiotic will have died for trump’s ego & Putin’s orders to trump, but not for our security or for freedom & democracy. We need to stop this undeclared “war” & remove, by all legal means, this criminal administration. 6/10
