In a flashback to the day the Germans marched into Paris in “Casablanca,” we see the chaos at the train station as people are desperate to flee before der Reich. [FN1] Perhaps a million U.S. citizens are stranded in the Middle East following the U.S. attacks on Iran. [FN2] 1/13

Yesterday afternoon, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, as noted by the Tennessee Holler, “pleaded with news orgs to put the help Line number out for Americans stuck in the Middle East… but per ABC News when you call the number it tells you you’re on your own.” [FN3] 2/13

Sound cold? Could be worse. In October, Rubio cut a secret deal w/the president of El Salvador “to hand over legally protected U.S. ‘informants,’ so the [t]rump administration could deport hundreds of Venezuelan immigrants to a notorious prison in the country.” [FN4] 3/13

The U.S. has set up people to be killed. Bush I, in February 1991, “called on the Iraqi people to rise up against Saddam.” Iraqi Kurds & Shiites “did as Bush asked [] The result was the predictable retribution and slaughter against both minorities by Saddam’s forces.” [FN5] 4/13

That’s not all. The U.S. set the tone, long ago, for support of democratically elected governments in Iran. In 1953, we helped topple the elected government of Prime Minister Mossadegh in favor of the Shah because the British wanted continued control of Iran’s oil. [FN6] 5/13

Why would someone in our gov’t have for selling out U.S. citizens? The trump administration is not color-blind. The color is green. Someone made $ betting on the attack starting on 2/28. [FN7] People in trump’s family, since 1/20/25, have made out like bandits - literally. [FN8] 6/13

J.R. Ewing on “Dallas,” with his lying, cheating and double-dealing, had the #1 show on TV. He got a lot of laughs for being so vile and despicable. trump is neither as smart nor as clever as J.R. And nether the people dying in Iran nor the coming economic fugue are fictional. 7/13
