“What is reality!?” [FN1]
Variations of this question arise frequently; their application in works of absurdist humor are apt in the context of Wednesday’s shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis & the broader issue of the dictatorship taking over this country. 1/14

Video, aired right after the shooting, shows Ms Good being shot, w/o valid legal cause, by ICE. [FN2] V Pres Vance held a press conference & said there was no dispute: Ms Good was shot trying to run over the officer. Troubling comments on social media included: 2/14

“[s]he was with an organized group and had been stalking the ICE agents. Unfortunately for her she tried to run them down.” Or: “[P]eople see what they wanna see and that this (conclusion) is coming down party lines more than anything.” Vance released proof, not 3/14

of his claim that Ms Good’s to blame for her own murder, but for his being a dumbass. Video from the shooter’s cell phone, shows Ms Good saying she is not mad at officers. The shooter was not in danger & simply murdered Ms Good. It’s difficult 4/14

to call masked thugs, acting without warrants, law enforcement officers. They are more akin to the Geheime Staatspolizei, a/k/a the Gestapo, who were Hitler’s secret police. Vance claimed (w/o citing any legal basis) that the shooter is immune from prosecution. That’s bad. 5/14

Hermann Goering, who set up the group, did not want them to worry about accountability. “I cannot act against the red mob with policemen who have to fear disciplinary proceedings when they do their duty.” [FN3] Gestapo didn’t wear masks 6/14

This is not one party seeing matters one way, etc. A dictatorship is moving into place, but is not yet completely “there.” People are being shot down in the streets. The feds are recruiting for ICE at gun shows, like McVeigh frequented. They have other lists. 7/14

Rioters on Jan 6 who were convicted but then, as one of his first acts almost a year ago, trump pardoned them. Usually having a history of violence against law enforcement officers acts as a bar to future employment that involves lethal force. 8/14

In August of 2023, at the contentious meeting of the board of directors of a library, [FN4] I stood next to John Schmitz, who hosts “Mouthwash,” a far right of center podcast. Two Noblesville PD officers were no more than 15 feet away from us. No one was told to shut up, 9/14

much less arrested. Mr Schmitz was trying to tell me the concerned patrons there were a “mob.” And DC on Jan 6, 2021? “The Lord” claimed to have sent those riots, according to IN Lt Gov and “Mouthwash” regular Micah Beckwith, [FN5] Now? Not so much. 10/14

“It’s only a flesh wound.” DC had riots. A budding dictator wipes his butt w/the Constitution he swore “to preserve, protect, and defend.” [FN6] The orders of a U.S. “king” are per se illegal. Nonviolent means should be used to overthrow this gov’t. 11/14
