Const'l Convention would render it all moot

trump’s threats to: 1) be a dictator [FN1] & 2) terminate The Constitution [FN2] are scary. Some hope in the 2026 mid-terms House & Senate are flipped “blue” & trump’s damage undone. But if trump is allowed to take office on 1/20, there probably will be no more elections. 1/11

Consider the following on a playclock that ends at noon, 1/20/25. Delays favor trump.
1) Citizens United v FEC, 558 U.S. 310 (2010). One of THE worst decisions by SCOTUS ever, Citizens United, like an STD [FN3], is a gift that keeps on giving. When $$$ = free speech 2/11

billionaires drown out anyone else. “Dark money,” funds without disclosure of their sources, has been pumped into our elections. [FN4] Without a way to discern the sources of funds, elections in this country can be purchased by foreign interests (a word on that in a few...) 3/11

2) The Constitution has limited trump. In the months leading up to the 2016 elections, trump had given vague descriptions of policy goals in the event s/he would be elected. E.g., trump promised to repeal Obamacare & replace it with “insurance for everybody.” [FN5] Even though 4/11

the first 2 years of trump 1, the GOP held majorities in both houses of Congress, [FN6] a few months ago, trump claimed to have only “concepts” for healthcare. [FN7] trump wants to get rid of The Constitution because trump wants to be king. And here’s the scariest part... 5/11

3) An Article V convention would be awash in money. Want to say a convention can’t be called because some States have withdrawn a petition filed decades ago? The most corrupt SCOTUS in history, presided over by Roberts, C.J., [FN8] would decide. That brings us to maga. 6/11

They should be opposed to foreign interests trying to interfere in and manipulate the results of our elections. How about that! I’m opposed to those foreign interests, too, but not because of skin color, nation of origin, etc. I’ll continue this discussion later. [FN9] 7/11
