Civil Discourse Now

Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

Today's Show: Drones, streamed live on IndianaTalks and Live365 from the Indy Cigar Bar, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Unmanned aerial vehicles, otherwise known as "drones," will be main topic of discussion as, on Civil Discourse Now we stream "live"—audio on IndianaTalks dot com or Live365 and go to "talk shows"; video on Ustream or this website—from the Indy Cigar Bar today, February 16, 2013.  Join us at the Indy Cigar Bar at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

   Our guest panelists will be:

JoAnne Lingle who is a full-time peace and justice activist focusing on anti-war and Middle Eastern issues. JoAnne has been a member of Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) since 1997.  She also was a member of the CodePink delegation to Pakistan in 2012 and is a board member of the Indianapolis Peace and Justice Center, Indianapolis; Christians for Peace in the Middle East, and Pax Christi-Indianapolis.

Timothy A. King also has worked as an activist on issues related to peace and justice. I did not receive bio information from him, but understand he has been involved in the Indiana Drones Project. That group built a 1/5 scale model of a drone, complete with model Hellfire missiles on its wings, and toured with it through the State.

Jeff Cox, Indianapolis attorney and author of "Rising Sun, Falling Skies," will be one of our panelists. He is an advocate of the use of drones.
