Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

This iteration of the Indiana GOP's silly platform.

Rep Ed De Laney, Democratic incumbent in Indiana’s 86th House District. I am the nominee of the GOP. Tomorrow, 10/31, 11:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m, we shall discuss women’s reproductive rights, the environment, guns, marijuana, and school finance & curricula.

IN GOP’s 2022 platform states the GOP “provides women the greatest freedom and framework for prosperity for themselves and our families” (p. 5) but lauds overturning of Roe (p. 4) and says the GOP’s “long history of electing Republican women to positions at the local, state, and federal level for decades.” (p. 5)

Actually: 1) For decades both major political parties had males & female as chairs/vice chairs at the same time as women couldn’t get loans without a male signatory, similar to the “separate but equal” myth set out in Plessy v Ferguson, 163 U.S. 537 (1896). This is hardly a “plus.”

2) Neither party has nominated or elected a woman for U.S. Senate. Of eight (8) women who have held seats in the U.S. House, four (4) were Dems. For the GOP to then provide more rights to an unborn fetus than a woman, support overturning Roe & make no mention of expanding day care, health care or necessities to Hoosier women is for the GOP to turn the fan on “high” as its male members urinate in female faces.

3) For the GOP to claim it is at the forefront of any economic race except one for the bottom is a joke. Eli Lilly and Cummins have let the State, i.e., GOP leadership, that this will not be tolerated. REMEMBER: 11:45 tomorrow, Oct. 31 on Civil Discourse Now, Facebook or YouTube. I approve of this message. Hell, I wrote it.
