Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

The smell of napalm in the morning reminds me of... Liberty

FDR’s [FN1] 1st 100 days in the WH received spl attention. He took office “at a desperate time, in the 4th year of a worldwide depression" [FN2] & the 100 days were of “bold leadership & executive-legislative harmony.” [FN3] Also, FDR was not a dictator. 1/10

The Great Depression followed 12 years of GOP catering to the rich. trump’s 1st week follows 4 yrs of Biden trying to undo damage of 2017-2021. What trump did last week brings to mind Liberty. B4 that, consider trump in comparison w/FDR’s 1st 100 days. 2/10

1) Times are desperate because of trump & her/his effort to kill democracy.
2) trump & Musk boasted, B4 inauguration, voting machines were hacked.
3) trump is disqualified, by her/his own actions, from being Pres by participating in:
a) Jan 6 and b) ongoing treason.
4) Also: trump repudiated The Constitution B4 s/he was sworn 1/20/25. 3/10

In days to come, more reports will be released & show how 2024's elections were stolen. Ways to challenge those elections have been walled-off. Any challenges in court would, ultimately, be snuffed by the 6 most corrupt SCOTUS justices in history. Gerrymandering 4/10

has shut out Congress and many State legislatures as places to protect the USA. There’s also (this will not win me the award for Congeniality in a Political Blog) kompromat Putin has on elected officials of the blue party. How else does one explain Garland sitting on his ass

for 2 yrs before seeking indictments of trump? The percentage of Democrats that Putin has in the bag is nowhere near the percentage of their counterparts in the GOP. People can 1) demonstrate & demand change and 2) Strike. 6/10

I’ll keep on blogging from Indiana & ponder the latest acts by trump & her/his toadies to install a despot, which brings me back to Liberty! as in “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.” Liberty was a murderous thug w/toadies. [FN4] So, We the People can demonstrate 7/10

and we can stage a nation-wide strike. If you don’t like my assessment, you can go (SCOTUS case, 403 U.S. 15 held this four-letter transitive verb is protected political speech) fuck yourself. I approve of this blog. Hell, I wrote it. (& follow Cassie Jackson on FB!) 8/10

Footnotes:
FN1. Franklin Delano Roosevelt took office as President (3/4/33) during the Depression, died in office (4/12/45) and is the only President to serve more than two terms.
FN2. Walsh, Kenneth T., “The First 100 Days: Franklin Roosevelt Pioneered the 100-Day Concept,” U.S. News & World Report, 2/12/09, citing William Leuchtenburg, "The FDR Years," accessed 1/26/25. 9/10

Footnotes:
FN3. Id., citing Badger, Anthony, "FDR: The First Hundred Days."
FN4. Liberty was played by Lee fucking Marvin & his toadies were Lee Van Cleef and (Indiana-born) Strother Martin. Nobody in today’s GOP holds a candle to Liberty, et al. 10/10
