Where the far left and far right overlap for fun and enlightenment

Sen JD Vance touts "Unhumans," a book aligned w/views that sound familiar

Humans have rights. [FN1] “During the Holocaust, Nazis referred to Jews as rats. Hutus [] in the Rwanda genocide called Tutsis cockroaches. Slave owners throughout history considered slaves subhuman animals.” [FN2] Dehumanization opens the door for cruelty & genocide. [FN3] 1/8

This is relevant today because Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), GOP nominee for V Pres, praised a book,
“Unhumans: The Secret History of Communist Revolutions (and How to Crush Them),” by Jack Posobiec and Joshua Lisec. [FN4] Posobiec promoted PizzaGate: a theory that leaders of 2/8

the Democratic Party meet in the basement of a pizzeria in Georgetown to engage in rituals. In “Unhumans,” the authors “argue that democracy ‘has never worked to protect innocents from the unhumans.’" They praise dictators. [FN5] Vance’s praise of the book is disturbing: 3/8

“‘In the past, communists marched in the streets waving red flags. Today, they march through HR, college campuses, and courtrooms to wage lawfare against good, honest people. In Unhumans ... [the authors] ... show us what to do to fight back.’” [FN6] The idiocy 4/8

entrenched in this iteration of the GOP is a continuance of that which held the Indiana GOP a hundred years ago. In 1924, 500K Hoosier “Kluxers” wore hoods and robes. Their leader, D.C. Stephenson, was sentenced to prison for murder. Maybe Vance wants to take his place. 5/8
