Ramaswamy says Jan 6 was "an inside job"

Should we have expected moral outrage from Micah Beckwith [FN1] after last night’s GOP “debate” [FN2] & Vivek Ramaswamy’s claim that January 6 “was an inside job”? Not a peep from Beckwith? BUT: Beckwith, in a 1/07/21 selfie video shot in his car, revealed ”The Lord” said: 1/6

“Micah, I sent those riots to Washington. What you saw yesterday was my hand at work” These are words of “The Lord,” according to Beckwith. Well nuts. A quick search on the internet does not show Beckwith doing a Howard Beale [FN3] or even a simple, mild protest. 2/6

Beckwith is very busy. There are next year’s elections. Also, Beckwith is a member of the board of trustees of HEPL [FN4] where he works hard to shield the children of the community from smut. It could be that Beckwith never spoke to “The Lord.” I’m not calling him a liar. 3/6

To project oneself into politics exposes one to public examination, sometimes unfairly. Beckwith has no background in debate. And why would Beckwith want to comment only to chastise Ramaswamy. That amounts to nothing more than telling the jerk off. 4/6

Footnotes: FN1. Hamilton County preacher; announced candidate 2024 GOP nomination for IN Lt Gov. FN2. I debated in high sch & undergrad, then coached IUPUI for several years: I cringe at use of the word “debate” applied to these events. 5/6

Footnotes: FN3. Howard Beale is a character in the movie “Network” (1976) who tells viewers to go to their windows & shout: “I am mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore!” FN4. Hamilton East Public Library. 6/6
