Watergate wasn’t this blatant. Nixon still is the only POTUS to resign. trump had been “warned” that members of the mob that eventually stormed the Capitol were heavily armed. He knew the plans. He said weapons were okay because the mob wasn’t going to harm him. 1/5

The 2nd Amendment wasn’t meant to arm coups. The Jan 6 mob, Nazis amongst them, carried confederate flags. Many people died to end slavery and to secure rights for former slaves & their descendants. Many died fighting Nazis. There are not “fine” people on “both” sides. 2/5

There are things worse than long-term impacts of trump’s years in office, possibilities he and his felonious cronies might not be prosecuted, or that a bastardized concept of The Constitution is held by 6 members of the Supreme Court at least 4 of whom should be removed. 3/5

The worst parts: MAGAt fans deny trump did anything wrong & others enable them. Liberty has not been brought by guns but by people who marched, voted, brought lawsuits, spoke and refused to back down. At times violence has been involved, but usually guns oppress people. 4/5
