Mystery: magaGOP nominee in Tippecanoe County claims voter fraud in 2020

“Gossip” [FN1] is a basic fact of existence. Gossip can be funny. [FN2] Gossip can be harmful. In the latter category are comments on FB that began as a reply to a post about the latest poll numbers and trump being “not a good general election candidate.” [FN3] That 1st reply: 1/16

“Never been a good general election candidate? BS. Don't believe me? Ask Killary. Or ask the DNC. The election rig they had to engineer was massive because Trump got more votes than any president in history and the most dramatic increase of votes for an incumbent.” 2/16

That reply purported to come from “Jim Schenke,” identified as the GOP nominee for Indiana House, District 26. [FN4] Mr Schenke tossed out the usual magaGOP crap, as comments flew, but added an allegation of attempted voter fraud in the 2020 general election. [FN5-8] 3/16

As I wrote, this person “claims to be a history teacher [and] GOP nominee for State Rep District 26. What he says occurred, if true, involves felonies, State and federal. He should have reported it.” [FN9] The snag? In Indiana it's illegal’ to falsely report to law enforcement. [FN10] 4/16

Gossip infuses everyday life. When it’s serious and affects loved ones, we have a duty to call it out. In this instance, a magaGOP nominee for the Indiana General Assembly has alleged acts in the 2020 election occurred. Schenke replied to me, about not reporting these acts: 5/16

“If you have solid advice on how and to whom I should report the election the regularity instead of occurred in this county over the last four years I'm very happy to see such a course.” You call the Tippecanoe County prosecutor, give the investigators names & approximate dates. 6/16

You already said: 1) Who: the “county clerk who runs the elections” whom you refer to as “she”; 2) When: at the last minute on election night; 3) What: 3000 votes nearly identical for Biden w/ little down ticket action. You act like this is some kind of game. Let me help... 7/16

In the Library (that’s where one can find books) with the candlestick (part of what people used before light bulbs). This won’t work because whether it was Mrs. White, Miss Scarlett or Mrs Peacock, come November, women will be all over your sorry asses. 8/16

FN5. “please do send another story about Republican election rigging in IN. I never saw such a story. What I do know is that Trump won the state by 16 points. IN was never in play. Here's some further proof of DEM rigging though. 12/16

Footnotes:
FN6. There are 19 bellweather counties in America that ALWAYS vote for the winning presidential candidate. In 2020 Trump won 18 of the 19. Indiana has a bell weather county My own Tippecanoe County always votes for the candidate that wins Indiana. 13/16

FN7. In 2020 trump lost Tippecanoe by .5 percent. Of course he would have won my county if he hadn't lost the college town West Lafayette by 30 points. He would have won West Lafayette except for an interesting tidbit I learned from the county clerk who runs the elections. 14/16

FN8. She said that at the last minute on election night she received 3000 votes that were nearly identical....app for Biden with little down ticket action. They were supposed to be mail in but she said they were all pristine and unfolded.” Jim Schenke, 8/2/24 15/16
