Lies, air traffic control, neutered GOP officials & can't fellate what's impossible to find

A cabinet member of the trump administration lies. [FN1] It’s news if his [FN2] lies are about a major part of that department and involves thousands of lives at any given moment is important. Government is “shut down,” but some jobs are considered “essential.” [FN3] 1/9

For 6 hours in the early morning of Oct 6, no air traffic controllers were in Burbank CA’s tower. [FN4] Sec’y of Transportation Sean Duffy’s comments about these personnel, lack of pay & their possible prosecution for “calling in” when not sick, are troublesome. [FN5] While 2/9

air traffic control is incredibly stressful, “essential” means working w/o pay as bills rack up, and back pay is only a promise. 6 SCOTUS judges want to give trump power over fed employees. [FN6] Why that matters? trump stiffs creditors. 3/9

Agency heads [FN7] pay lip service to employees’ needs. Sec’y Duffy went beyond that when he said, “Our priorities are safety.” [FN8] That’s a blatant lie. Any federal agency’s “priority” today is kissing trump’s ass. They’d fellate trump, but some things are impossible to find. 4/9

Footnotes:
FN1. A lie: “an untrue statement made with intent to deceive,” The Merriam-Webster Dictionary, pocket ed., 1974, p. 406; distinct from delusion: “persistent belief in something false typical of some mental disorders.” Id., p. 195. Some ppl combine both, e.g., RFK, Jr. 5/9

FN2. Masculine pronouns are appropriate to refer to some male members of the trump cabinet & feminine pronouns will be used to refer to females (who take a break from a god-given duty to cook meals and breed), to serve on trump’s cabinet. 6/9

FN3. FAA defines air traffic controllers as essential workers, req’d to work during gov’t shut downs w/o pay, but guar’d back pay when stalemate ends. Ayesha Ali & Sam Sweeney, “Unpaid air traffic controllers call out sick as [] shutdown continues,” ABC News, 10/7/25.
FN4. Id. 7/9

FN5. Megan Cerullo, “Air traffic controllers told to keep working during shutdown,” CBS News, 10/7/25.
FN6. Robert Alexander, “Supreme Court Could Give Donald Trump the Power to Fire People at Will,” Newsweek, 10/7/25. 8/9

FN7. If nouns are not sex-specific, pronouns will be avoided. Many elected GOP officials behave in such fashion as to warrant neutered pronouns, but no such pronouns (in English) as would fit do not come to mind.
FN8. Id., note 5. 9/9
