On 4/9/26, flotus [FN1] stated: “The lies linking we with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.” [FN2] She has an office in the White House and spoke of a matter, “Epstein”, that is of public concern, [FN3] based on her personal knowledge. [FN4] 1/14

1) The “mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation.” [FN5] If a remark “involves a matter of public concern, the plaintiff is constitutionally required to prove both the statement’s falsity and the defendant’s fault.” [FN6] She does not identify who said what & when. 2/14

Sheer numbers of “lies” and “mean-spirited” attempts to defame are daunting for someone who first got work here on an “Einstein visa.” [FN7] “Melania” is mentioned 124 times in the index on DOJ’s website. [FN8] Math’s tough, but we need specifics. 3/14

2) “[I]ndividuals and companies have been legally obligated to publicly apologize and retract their lies about me.” [FN9] She provides specifics. (Yay!) [FN10] The “retractions” were not as broad as implied. [FN11] [FN12] [FN13] Another part of the 4/9/26 statement: 4/14

3) Congress should have Epstein’s victims “testify under oath.” [FN14] The women who were Epstein’s AND OTHERS’ victims have testified, sometimes several times, so the call for them to testify “under oath,” is more of a threat. After all, Melania has lawyers... 5/14

who forced individuals & companies to apologize, etc. Epstein’s victims have done enough. Only one person, Maxwell - a woman - has faced charges for Epstein’s crimes. Grand juries should be impaneled to listen to testimony and indict people implicated. After all ... 6/14

She says “I am not a witness or a named witness in connection with any of Epstein’s crimes. My name has never appeared in court documents, depositions, victim statements, or FBI interviews surrounding the Epstein matter.” [FN15] She is mentioned 124 times in files released. 7/14

I’ll try to add more to this tomorrow. I’d liked to celebrate election results in Hungary. We have a long way to go in our fight against a wannabe dictator here. Release ALL the Epstein files. 8/14
