HELP: I ask a special favor of my friends here. I met a very special woman. She’s funny and smart and inquisitive. Our talk traversed gerunds, Latin, English and French. We reached cinema and “The Year of living Dangerously.” (She looked it up on her phone.)
We only exchanged first names in an office waiting area in Greenwood, Indiana. I came out of my meeting and she had left. If anyone knows a woman who met a guy on Tuesday, 6/15, with whom she had such a conversation and she shows recognition, please ask her to DM me.
“I thought of Gatsby’s wonder when he first picked out the green light at the end of Daisy’s dock. He had come a long way to this blue lawn and his dream must have seemed so close that he could hardly fail to grasp it.” “The Great Gatsby,” p. 189.
Perhaps I only imagined a spark of recognition of interest. If so, no problem. If that spark was real, I’d hate to miss the opportunity to kindle it. Life is too short to pass on a possibility of being with a person like this. I greatly appreciate the help, my friends.
