CHARTER SCHOOLS will be our topic of discussion this Saturday, January 5, at 11 a.m. in our inaugural Show on "Indiana Talks." We shall shoot at Big Hat Books, 6510 Cornell Avenue, in Broad Ripple.

   Our guests will be:

   Carole Craig, who is involved in the newly-formed not-for-profit Children and Law Policy Initiatives. Ms. Craig also is co-chair of the Education Committee of the Greater Indianapolis NAACP. She taught science for 37 years and also served in several positions as a school administrator.

   Kevin Davis is the Chief Operating Officer of the Indiana Public Schools Charter Association. Mr. Davis has been a teacher and principal in the Carmel and Speedway public schools systems. He has played key roles in the start-ups of charter schools in Carmel and Noblesville.
