Possible Articles of Impeachment of IN Lt Gov Micah Beckwith

Bill Levin, [FN1] in a post on FB, noted generally that Indiana, like other States, provides for impeachment of gov’t officials. The context of the post was last week’s efforts by some in IN’s GOP to adhere to demands of #47 & gerrymander U.S. House districts mid-term. 1/9

In the lead-up to the vote in the Indiana Senate, GOP members of that body were threatened. The threats had an effect opposite what was intended. Over half the GOP members of the IN Senate voted against the measure. Before anyone blames “Antifa” for these threats 2/9

Has Beckwith demanded the people who threatened members of the body over which he presides be found? Has Braun demanded a similar investigation? I’ve not heard of such demands.
Indiana’s Constitution addresses impeachment: 3/9

"All State officers shall, for crime, incapacity, or negligence, be liable to be removed from office, either by impeachment by the House of Representatives, to be tried by the Senate, or by a joint resolution of the General Assembly;...” [FN2] 4/9

Article of Impeachment One. After the vote, Lt Gov Beckwith, who owed a duty to keep order over the Senate and provide fopr its members’ safety, breached that duty by publishing photos of the GOP Senators who voted no, and providing violent-laden text which included 5/9

comments that there was a choice of whether to “fight a Marxist movement [] or choose dishonor” & those “who choose dishonor [and] will still get the fight....The war didn’t start today. But today made it unmistakably clear who’s willing to stand ... and who isn’t.” 6/9

Article of Impeachment Two. Beckwith: 1) owed a duty to make sure facilities in his office are not used to create harmful or defamatory videos; 2) the duty was breached when the facilities in the Lt Gov's office were used to create deep fake videos; 7/9

3) the breach was the proximate cause of 4) of harm to the plaintiff depicted in the deep fake video. These are just two suggested articles of impeachment of a person, Beckwith, who should not hold public office. 8/9
